Exclusion of Liability:
Agricon are absolved from all liability however arising from injury or damaged however caused (whether fatal or otherwise) arising from use of this machine.
Agricon warrants the first retail purchaser of each machine that the machine manufactured and assembled by Agricon and delivered by the authorised Agricon dealer will be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and service, for the period of 12 months.
This guarantee is subject to extensions and exclusions referred to in these conditions.
General conditions
In terms of this guarantee Agricon undertakes to provide free repair and or replacement of defective materials and or workmanship where the liability of Agricon has been approved by an authorised Agricon representative.
Any work done and material supplied by Agricon in these guarantees will be provided by the discression of Agricon and premises appointed by Agricon.
Any travel and accommodation charges will be for the clients account. It shall be at the digression of Agricon whether to repair or replace any defective components or materials.
Transfer of Guarantee
This guarantee may be transferred to the subsequent owner of the machine for the unexpired term thereof and remain valet for the term hereof provide that the terms and conditions including maintenance have been obtained for the period, provided it is sold through and Agricon dealer or network.
Guarantee, Principals and Practices
This guarantee and any liability of Agricon in terms are subject to the following principals and practises:
- Agricon shall be excused for any liability under the terms of this guarantee if the Agricon machine to which the guarantee relates have been subject to miss use, impact, alternations, modifications or failure to apply to the operator standards including, but not limited to the standards recommended in the owners manual.
- Repairs and service must be carried out according to the guidelines layout in the Operators manual. Should Agricon find that failure found was due to service, lubrication or any other type of misuse and abuse this guarantee will be void.
- Agricon shall not be liable for routine service and maintenance cost. Replacement of consumable parts like v-belts, roller shells, die-rings, roller bearings, bearings or any other components subject to normal wear and tear.
- This guarantee and liability of Agricon does not extend to any parts or accessories other than those parts and accessories provided and applied by Agricon.
- It is the responsibility of the owner to apply to operator and safety standards and maintenance.
- All components and accessories that are replaced by the discression of Agricon shall become the property of Agricon.
- The guarantee and any liability of Agricon in terms of this guarantee excludes any liability for consequent loss and indirect damage of loss of production, standing time, or loss of the use of the machine and the result of loss under the guarantee.
- This guarantee shall not apply to any defects or use of any incorrect lubricants.
- The guarantee does not cover transport of equipment or parts from the site to our works in Oudtshoorn, RSA. Travelling costs of technical personnel is not included in the guarantee and will be for the customers account.
- If a dispute should arise about a claim rejection by Agricon, Agricon has the right to request a third party to evaluate the problem. The consultation costs for such third party will be for the account of the client if Agricon is found to have been correct in the first place. If however, Agricon is found to be liable, Agricon will carry out the repair and foot the consulting bill.

Die Rings - Die rings are specially designed for specific types of products. Pellet quality and production rate can not be guaranteed with any other product than the one the Die ring was designed for.

Dealer Responsibilities
Agricon requires our dealers, the all important link between the customer and us, to accept certain responsibilities.
- To ensure that you have a full and clear understanding of the working of the machine and the guarantee procedures of this machine.
- To ensure that your new Agri machine is delivered in perfect condition, the dealer is responsible to give each new machine the finishing touches that are part of the reputation of customer satisfaction associated with Agricon.
- To remain fully up to date by means of service bulletins received from Agricon.
- To give practical and technical training to the new owner ensuring the highest levels of service and satisfaction for the new Agri owner.
Owners obligations regarding maintenance, service replacement of item and guarantee exclusions
The machine guarantee does not cover the cost as a result of normal wear and tear or inspections. Neither does it cover any loss or deterioration of whatever nature. As a result of the machine being stored for a lengthy period, therefore cost related to the items listed below is the responsibility of the owner.
- Lubrication - Lubrication, extremes of temperature and adverse weather and severe work conditions need more frequent servicing. All bearings must be lubricated with the correct grade of grease as prescribed by Agricon in the manual.
- V-Belts - V-Belts must be checked daily for adjustment and tightness. Should any wear and tear be detected on the belts it must be replaced as soon as possible before any pulley damage does occur.
- Roller Maintenance
Automatic Lubrication
It is very important to replace the Automatic Lubrication units after the lubrication has run out. After the period has expired the lubricator must be replaced. Failure to do so will cause damage to the roller system.
Manual Lubrication
Rollers must be lubricated hourly during work and lubricated after switching the machine off for the evening. This lubrication will prevent any dust being sucked into the roller shell causing premature roller failure.
- Roller Adjustment - Rollers must be adjusted daily to ensure that the correct clearance between the die rings and the rollers is maintained. Should this clearance be too small or too big this can cause roller shaft breakage or abnormal wear to rollers and die rings. Agricon cannot be hold responsible for these damages.
- Electric Motor Maintenance - An authorized electrician must service electric motors every six months.
- Pelletizing - The machine and die ring setup is supplied to the client for the intended product. If it is found that the machine was used without Agricon approval to pelletise products not suited to the machine setup, Agricon will not consider any claims.
- Die Rings - Die rings are specially designed for specific types of products. Pellet quality and production rate can not be guaranteed with any other product than the one the Die ring was designed for.

Should you encounter any problems with your machine, which you cannot fix by yourself, please feel free to call Agricon, where qualified technicians will help you solve your problem as soon as possible. We do not accept any responsibility for any unqualified personal tampering with the machine.
