Ensures the best possible intensive mixing of steam and feed particles
A cascade blender ensures the best possible intensive and homogenous mixing of steam and feed particles. Steam is used to moisten and heat the feed particles to a point where gelatinisation of the available starch and proteins take place. This softens the feed and reduces the amount of kilowatts needed for the pelletising process. It also improves the binding of the pellets resulting in good quality pellets that handle very well.
