BUCKET ELEVATORS
AND BAGGING UNITS

Single Bagging Unit
This unit is an open-slatted belt elevator that can operate up to a 60° incline with one bag outlet and no storage facility. This unit for a medium-capacity plant (1000kg per hour) without dust seperation. This unit is not suitable for the manufacturing of pellets for resal, because there is no dust seperation unit included. This unit is ideal for someone who makes only small amounts of pellets and who wants to save costs.

Bagging Unit with 2.8m Bucket Elevator
This unit is an open-slatted belt elevator that can operate up to a 60° incline, and includes a dust seperation unit. The 2.8m bucket elevator with bagging unit and dust seperation system has one outlet for pellets on the front side. To ensure the quality of the pellets, this unit makes use of a shaker that seperates the fine particles from the pellets. Finer particles are collected in a bag hanging under the screen. If cooling is out of your reach, this unit will complete your pelleting line, but you still have to allow for cooling time in the open bags to prevent the growth of mould on the product.

COOLERS

Cold air is blown in the opposite direction of the flow of warm pellets
A counter-flow cooler is a cooler where cold air is blown in the opposite direction of the flow of warm pellets. This maximizes the cooling effect of the air being blown into the cooler. The amount of air being used determines the final weight and quality of the pellets being cooled. It is thus very important to control the air flow over the pellets. Too much drying during the cooling process will cause the pellets to become lighter and as a result means less money in your pocket. If the pellets are cooled too slowly, the result will be soft and cracket pellets that handles very badly.

DID YOU KNOW?

Dust seperation is vital if you wish to produce pellets for sale purposes, as without this there will be alot of residual smaller feed particles.

Cooling your product with or without a cooling system is required before the final stage of bagging the product takes place, as forfeiting this will increase the risk of mould growth on the product.
